Each Lenten season, we as Oak Hills Church give up something in order to focus our attention on Christ, and have set aside an offering to give on Easter to benefit the community. This year, we have wrapped all of those extra offerings into The Orchard Fund.

Imagine an orchard full of beautiful fruit trees – each time fruit falls from the tree, there is the opportunity for a new tree to grow from the seeds of that fruit. Just like an orchard, our fruit grows on other people’s trees. This Easter, we want to collect a big offering – over and above regular tithes – for people and programs outside of Oak Hills Church. Our Easter offering will help fund the EveryMeal program at Pilot Knob Elementary, provide technology like sound, lights, and media for the 1570 Project, give scholarships to kids and youth for summer camp, provide scholarships for single moms to attend the Single Moms Retreat at Lake Geneva, and take care of all of the needs for the 4th of July Oasis. We’re so excited to see how our gifts help bring God’s goodness and love to the community.
