Holy Thursday Prayer Guide
-
Please pray for the church and the unique opportunities the church has during this time. That more people will hear the message of Christ and believe in Him during these difficult times. “But to all who believed in him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God.” John 1:12
-
Pray for people who have been impacted by this virus around the world whether it is Financial, Physical, Mental or Social. The need is great but Our God is Greater! Matthew 19:26 “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
-
Pray that we’re driven by faith, hope, and love and not by fear. 2 Timothy 1:7 “For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love and self-discipline.”
-
Take time to pray for any personal burdens or needs that you have today. Be honest and open with God about your needs, remembering that He is your loving Father and cares about your needs. Leave your burdens with the Lord, and trust that He will care of you. Isaiah 26:3 “You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you!” Psalms 55:22 “Give your burdens to the Lord, and he will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall.”
-
Please pray that we may be His light amidst uncertain times as Jesus displayed the greatest love during the most difficult of times. Pray Romans 15:13, “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” Matthew 5:16 “Even so, let your light shine before men; that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in Heaven.”
