Lent

March 2 - April 14

The Season of Lent is the six-week period leading up to Easter and is a time to prepare our hearts and minds to remember Jesus’ life, death and resurrection. It’s a traditional time to fast or give something up.

We invite you to participate in a few ways:

1. Read the Lent for Everyone devotion. You can find it here or you can purchase the book at the Welcome Center. It’s become an Oak Hills tradition and never fails to make this season extra meaningful and profound.

2. Fast one meal per week (or whatever you feel led to give up) and set the money aside that you would have spent on it for Every Meal, then bring that offering on Easter Sunday. It has been a beautiful way for us to be Jesus’ hands and feet in our community and we are looking forward to continuing this partnership.

3. Check out this playlist on Spotify or YouTube. Filling your heart and mind with worship throughout the week will not only bless you in the moment, but will allow you to more fully experience our Sunday worship time.
